STORMSCAPES: SUNSTORM abstract expressionist artwork 16 x 20 inches

SUNSTORM is part of the STORMSCAPES series and it is inspired by the way the clouds look when a big storm is about to roll in from the sea near sundown. They blossom all sorts of different colors and bloom into life. The air fills with static and you feel as if you are a small insignificant grain of sand in the face of the storm. 

The colors are a blend of stormy gray-purple, neon pinks and soft pastel peaches, splashes of a sunny yellow and celadon green, smears of a rich orange, and swipes of a delicious stormy blue. Parts of the painting react to blue light. 

It is painted by hand by the artist. This is an original piece, created in April 2021.
